- 2 / 5By Nick FreelsHere we go... I was on my way to work, pulled up to the stand, there was only one other person ahead of me. I assumed I would only be there 2-3 minutes tops. I zoned out deciding which drink I wanted. 2 minutes went by I noticed the barista was standing at the window of the stand talking with the customer ahead of me. But I continued to wait another 2 minutes, at this point I was getting a little annoyed I rolled my window and quickly realized the customer ahead of me had already revived their drinks and payed and were just chatting it up. After another 2 minutes had passed I decided this was a waste of time, I pulled out of the drive and headed right next door to the Human Bean where I was in and out in less than 2 minutes! There's nothing wrong with being social and having conversations with customers, but when it affects other people who are on a tight schedule it becomes an issue. Ok, rant over.September 08, 2016
